Family-owned childcare in Tuart Hill since 1996

One family. Thirty years.

Tuart Hill Baby & Childcare began with a brother and sister who wanted to build somewhere children would feel at home. Three decades on, Joy and Anthony still run both centres themselves.

Joy & Anthony

Raised on respect.

Joy and Anthony grew up in Perth, the children of hard-working Italian-born parents who taught them to be kind, honest and respectful, and to appreciate the simple things. Family bushwalks in the outback gave them a lifelong love of nature.

Joy holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Diploma in Children's Services, and has always known her place was with children. Anthony brings a business background. Together, they've made the centres part of the Tuart Hill community.

"We have created a home away from home where everyone is respected, and diversity is valued and embedded in the program."

Big corporate centres pay rent, landlords and head-office costs, and families pay for it in their fees. We don't have any of those.

So we can keep fees fair, and spend where it counts: educators who stay, meals cooked on site and buildings we look after as our own.

What we believe.

Children are capable, curious and competent learners. Families are partners in everything we do, and help shape our philosophy, programs and policies.

01

Every child is unique.

02

Every child has a natural desire to learn.

03

Parents and guardians are the most important people in their child's life.

04

Every child, including children with additional needs, deserves a positive, healthy place to learn.

05

Children learn best when they're actively involved with people, materials, ideas and events.

06

Every family should have equal access to our programs.

Long Day Care follows the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard.
